From"the water is bright and sunny,and the mountains are empty and rainy"to"Wu mountain is horizontal in the morning and vertical in the evening".As an important recreational and characteristic cultural landscape corridor connecting lakes,mountains and cities,Hefang Street has been closed for four years since the construction of Wushan Square subway.Everyone is looking forward to the return of the upgraded version.
This morning(May 6),the upgraded Hefang Street was officially unveiled.
It starts from Nanshan Road in the West and Hefang Street in the east to Laodong Road,with a total length of about 420 meters.The transformation involves many processes,such as road engineering,traffic facilities,street lamp engineering,intelligent transportation engineering,landscape greening engineering and so on.
Since July last year,several departments such as Shangcheng SDIC and the traffic police have held working meetings for many times to continuously conduct on-site investigation and optimize the scheme.In order to ensure the timely presentation of Hefang Street Road,the workers worked overtime for many times to control the road construction quality and constantly grasp the project progress.
It is worth mentioning that as an important channel connecting the West Lake and Wushan scenic spot,Hefang Street also bears the burden of publicizing history and culture.
In the area close to Nanshan Road,landscape sketches,such as cultural copper wall and cultural copper brick,are added.Taking history as the lead and combined with the historical and cultural heritage of West Lake and Hefang Street,a landscape corridor showing urban history and block scenery is created.The greening improvement along the line is completed simultaneously,with both"appearance"and"function".
It is reported that the section has entered the final edge closing stage and will be officially opened to traffic soon.
